Design work

Map illustration

These maps, printed lithographically, show the trail of the GAWP Word Walk. It's a trail that connects place and history to tell the stories of local people, past and present, launched at Gloucestershire Heritage Hub in March 2024.

I hand drew the elements and compiled it digitally.

GAS Projects Publicity graphics 2023-2025

I led design and marketing for GAS Projects between 2023-2025, and you can find all the design work I created for them on the website here. Below are some highlights for the larger projects.

Grief Rave

Annie Frost Nicholson and The Loss Project co-curated Grief Raves as part of the Fandangoe Skip installations in London and NYC. They worked with our GASP Young Creatives to bring this unique experience to us and to Gloucester!

The design brief was 90s poster meets hand drawn folk art, with Gloucester Docks. I hand drew most of the elements.

Supported by Canal and River Trust and Arts Council England, and part of the Folk Trail 2025.

NG200 GAWP! Weekend with National Gallery

The National Gallery Art Road Trip Bus parked on Kings Square in Gloucester with reproductions of artworks from the National Gallery, and NG facilitators hosted engaging art workshops in the GAWP! gallery.

"NG 200 celebrates the past and look forward to the future with a year-long festival of art, creativity and imagination, to set the tone for the third century of the National Gallery. "

I was tasked with creating publicity that conveyed the National Gallery visiting Gloucester, and I imagined the gallery landing on Kings Square.

Big Give campaign 2025

I led the design and marketing for the Big Give campaign, to raise £10k in seven days, and we did!

Big Give is the UK's leading match funding charity. They support organisations to double down on the positive impact we make. I needed to design a series that fitted with our brand, as well as the Big Give brand.

See the whole campaign on Instagram, and the webpage.

Site Festival design work

I continue to lead on marketing design and web design for the art festival every year. I’m also heavily involved in the design for the Open Studios directories, of which we print 13,000 each year. Here are some highlights of design that I created for publicity this year. Find out more.

The Prince Albert design work

On a freelance basis I create menus, flyers and digital design for my local music venue, The Prince Albert. All to match in with their colours, fonts and brand.

Websites and digital design

I’ve designed many websites for artists and local businesses. Most recently I created a website, logo and business card design for Brenda Miller.

Design for Natalie Sloan

Natalie wanted a website and logo that reflected her performance practice and personal style.

Testimonials

  • "Working with Kazz has been invaluable. As I’m an emerging artist, not only did she provide expert marketing support that had a tangible impact - she has also kindly shared words of wisdom and gentle guidance, offering perspectives and ideas that I wouldn't have generated alone. As well as delivering exactly what she offers - and doing it very well, Kazz is a really lovely person. She's fun, friendly and kind. I feel truly lucky to have worked with her and I remain hopeful she'll be available to help me again in the future!" - Nat Hind

  • “I worked with Kazz on various different projects and couldn't recommend her enough. She is easy to work with, friendly, efficient and gets the job done quickly.” - Briony

  • "Kazz has brought compassion, care and critical analysis, coupled with wit and creativity, to all the work we have done together over the last 3 years. She has an unerring commitment to inclusion and seeks to deepen her understanding of the structures & systems that exclude people so she can be a better ally. I love working with her and hope to do so again in the future." - Jay Haigh
